Creator/director/producer Roberto Nascimento approached me to create a poster for his wonderful little web series ‘Skytower’; a story about a young Brazilian man and his travel companions, as they find their way – via an old Volkswagen bus – into starting a life in Auckland. It’s a sweet & simple story that I chose to reflect in the overall design, which led to an illustration of the bus, being the anchor point of the story and the characters’ journey. The text was simply stacked up behind to allude to Auckland’s famed Skytower itself.
